Finish the sensei tale The Way of the Kusarigama at Owl Mountain in the north of Teshio Ridge for the kusarigama.
At Altars of Reflection, buy Melee > Kusarigama > Ferocious Whirlwind, then Lethal Talons.
With at least 1 Spirit (the yellow dots above your health bar), sneak up behind an enemy who has not seen you. From a few metres away, press + at the prompt.

The kusarigama does not need to be equipped. Once the map is cleared, fast travel to the main entrance of Benten Port in Oshima Coast: you arrive right behind a group of enemies.
