Two mythic tales. The first starts when you win a duel at any of the five Dueling Trees, where a ronin under a tree challenges you:

Yotei Grasslands: just south of the Shikotsu River, and north-west of the Yotei River
Tokachi Range: in the far north-west (squeeze through a gap in the cliff), just south of the Tomamu Marshlands, and at Niikappu Falls in the north-east

Each duel gives one of Takezo's charms. After all five, the Coastal Dueling Tree in the south of Yotei Grasslands is marked. Wait at its campfire and beat Takezo there to finish Takezo the Unrivalled.

For The Five Teachings, go to the summit of Mount Yōtei. The way up is the Mount Yōtei Shrine climb in the west of Yotei Grasslands, which also earns Inheritance (once climbed, fast travel to the top). Equip all five Takezo charms, rest at the campfire and duel him.

Watch out

Takezo does not appear unless all five of his charms are equipped. If you have fewer than five charm slots, collect more charms first: Fox Dens and Shrine Climbs give them, and the slots grow with the number of charms you own.
