The Gatcha Lab opens in the Crash Site at 16 Puzzle Pieces. Each play of its machine costs 100 coins and gives one prize. Some plays give only an empty soda can instead, so plan on a little more than 100 coins a prize. Your prize count is at the top right of the lab. The machine holds 169 prizes and adds more as you rescue more Bots.

Pick up every coin, break containers and beat enemies.
When you fly out at the end of a level, launch the controller at the bonus box while it glows gold for 100 coins.
Do not buy the collectible tracker, a bird in a glass dome at the start of a replayed level (200 coins).

If you are short once everything else is done, replay levels. Their coins come back on every replay, about 300 to 400 a level. Danger Dojo in the Lost Galaxy pays well for its length. Dying puts your coins back to what you had at the last checkpoint, so dying earns nothing.
