ASTRO BOT Guide & Roadmap

ASTRO BOT's platinum asks for 100% in one playthrough: all 300 Bots, all 120 Puzzle Pieces, 150 prizes from the Gatcha Lab and a hidden last level, Great Master Challenge. Nothing is missable, and every level can be replayed from the space map after the story. The hard parts are a few optional challenge levels and that last level.

  1. 1Every Bot, piece and prize on the way

Play the story and pick up everything on the way. Astro flies his ship across a space map of five galaxies. Each has its levels, a boss that opens once you have rescued enough Bots, and a last level themed on a PlayStation series. Between galaxies you return to the Crash Site, the hub where his PS5-shaped mothership crashed. Highlight a level on the map to see what it still holds.

    • Rescue every Bot. Each galaxy's Bot trophy, starting with Silver TrophyMonkey See, Monkey Rescue, has a checklist of its Bots and names the side levels that appear when you fly into asteroids or UFOs on the map.
    • Take the secret exits. Ten levels hide a second exit. Each opens a level in the Lost Galaxy, a seventh galaxy whose Bots count for Silver TrophyLost And Found.
    • Catch each galaxy's map piece. A UFO or an asteroid carries one Puzzle Piece across each of the five maps.
    • Save your coins. The Gatcha Lab, a prize machine in the Crash Site, opens at 16 Puzzle Pieces. Each play costs 100 coins, so pick up every coin and skip the collectible-finding bird offered on a replay. Play the machine as coins come in (Silver TrophyMoney Well Spent). Short of 150 prizes at the end? Replay a few levels.
    • Do each level's trophy in its level. The levels: trophies in playing order lists all nine.
  2. 2The Golden Statue

Finish the Crash Site's own 30 Bots and 11 Puzzle Pieces last. Many sit behind blue markers on the ground that call your Bots to help, and some need 100 or more. Two pieces need Gatcha Lab prizes. The 120th piece builds the Golden Statue at the back of the Crash Site (Silver TrophyMonumental Achievement). Its marker takes all 300 Bots and leads to Great Master Challenge, the game's hardest level. Reach the Special Master Bot at its end for Gold TrophyThe Golden Bot.

  3. 3The Crash Site trophies

With every Bot and 150 prizes, these take minutes. Most need a cameo Bot, a character from another PlayStation game, and that Bot's prize from the Gatcha Lab. If a prize has not come out yet, keep playing the machine. Any time in the Crash Site lists each with what it needs. These take a little setting up:

    • Photograph Nathan Drake and Lara Croft together with the camera from the Safari Park, a Crash Site area (Bronze TrophyThick As Thieves).
    • Get Thor frozen by Kratos' axe (Bronze TrophyThaw, God of Thunder!).
    • Get rolled up in the Katamari Prince's sticky ball (Bronze TrophyRoyally Stuck).
    • Dance with Crash Bandicoot (Bronze TrophyLet's Twist Again).
    • Slap Kazuma Kiryu until his pockets are empty (Bronze TrophyDeep-Pocket Dragon).
    • Step between Ryu and Ken while they fight (Bronze TrophyKO!).
    • Climb to the platform on the mothership's left and wait until its parts sing (Bronze TrophySingStars).
