Gorilla Nebula, the first galaxy, holds 42 Bots. 39 are in its six levels. The boss level, Mighty Chewy, opens once you have finished the first four. The other three Bots are in side levels that appear only when you fly into something on the galaxy's map:

Rolling Star Sola: an asteroid that appears in the upper left.
Retro Rampage 1: a ring of asteroids in the upper left. Destroy all of them.
Crumble Rumble 1: a big asteroid in the upper right.

Highlight a level on the map to see how many of its Bots you have. PowerPyx's level guides have a screenshot of each Bot.
