Monoco learns his skills by beating enemies while he is in the active party: every new kind of enemy gives one (a Chromatic version counts as the same kind), 44 in all. Put him in the active party when he joins at Monoco's Station and keep him there. He must still be in the party when the fight ends. If your reserves take over, no skill. None are missable: the Endless Tower brings back most enemies, and the Grosse Tête, Duallist and Lampmaster also return in the Flying Manor.
