Maelle's level 6 needs the climb of The Reacher, the large side area on the cliff west of Visages, in Act III. At the top Maelle fights alone. Play defensively: use her level 1 Gradient Attack to enter Virtuose Stance and follow with Sword Ballet. Leave the area to finish the quest.

Her level 7 conversation offers "(Truth)" and "(Lie)". Choose "(Truth)". "(Lie)" gives no level 7 and no Gommage, her level 3 Gradient Attack.

Watch out

If you chose "(Lie)", reload the autosave from before the conversation right away. The game keeps only its most recent autosaves.
