Malenia waits at the very bottom of Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree, the city in the roots of Miquella's Haligtree. The way there is hidden.
- Get both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. The left half lies past
Commander Niall in Castle Sol, in the north of the Mountaintops of the Giants. The right half comes from Albus, who hides as a pot on the path up from the Village of the Albinaurics site of grace in western Liurnia: hit the pot, then talk to him until he hands it over. - At the Grand Lift of Rold, choose the Haligtree Secret Medallion. The lift takes you to the Consecrated Snowfield.
- In Ordina, Liturgical Town, enter the evergaol and light the four statues around the town, three of them on rooftops. The waygate that appears takes you to the Haligtree.
- Work down through the Haligtree past Loretta, Knight of the Haligtree into Elphael.
Her attacks are all physical, so equip the Dragoncrest Greatshield Talisman found in Elphael on the way. Summon Black Knife Tiche or the Mimic Tear: Tiche dodges her better, and every hit Malenia lands heals her.
