Upgrade the Sakai Katana to level VII at a swordsmith, such as the one at Golden Temple in Izuhara, the southern region. Loot Supplies, Iron, and Steel from enemy territories, and earn Gold by liberating large strongholds. Save resources for the katana and Sakai Clan Armor before spending heavily on other equipment. The Charm of Inari from Arrow Peak Shrine in Izuhara increases the Supplies you collect.
