There are 12 puzzle boxes, all in Teshio Ridge: one on a body, four on Kitsune Altars and seven at the altars of the region's Yotei Six camps. Open each under Inventory > Puzzle Boxes by sliding its parts. A box's name depends on the order you pick them up, not on where it was found, so look up solutions by name.
