Mio and Zoe carry a bomb with a timer through seven rounds, about three minutes in all. Throw it to your partner with R2 before the timer runs out, and catch it when it comes back. Every pass resets the timer, and a bomb that is not caught explodes.

Watch out

Once the bomb has exploded, the run no longer counts. Restart the side story from Chapter Select.
