Budding Analyst Trophy in CONTROL Resonant

Pope's Research is the side quest Emily Pope, the FBC scientist, gives you after the main quest The Hedron Link, in the Unknown. You need it anyway: its Gravity Wells are how you cross between the Unknown's floating islands, and Sever the Hedron Links cannot be finished without them. It has no markers at first.

On each island, jump onto the weather balloon and press L1 to cut it down. Break open the crate it drops.
Pick up a probe relay (an antenna). The minimap shows where it goes, and it beeps near its red circle. Place each relay in its own circle until its light turns green.
When an island's relays are placed, a Gravity Well appears in the sky. Jump onto it and walk off to fly to the next island.
The first island leads to the central island. Uncover its map and the other balloons are marked, with arrows showing how the islands connect.
After all eight balloons, ride the Gravity Well on the southern island (Evac Building on the map) through the sphere in the centre, and press L3 to latch on as you pass. Press L1 inside until you fall out.

The quest also gives the Resonant Token for the sixth ability slot (Combat Rediness).
