The Park is an optional zone the story never sends you to. Reach it through The Park Checkpoint in the north-east corner of Central, any time after you arrive in Central. It is far easier once Downtown, Central, the Evacuation Zone and the West Incursion Zone are done.
- Drop down the large hole in the middle of the Park, where the map says "New Mold strains?", and eat the mold at the bottom. This starts the quest and marks three more molds.
- Eat the three marked molds. At each, clear the enemies to open its door:
- the Pizzeria in the north-west, reached through the sewers
- the Minimart in the south-west corner, the easiest
- the Gym in the north-west corner
- Go back down the hole in the middle. Its mold door now opens to the Resonant.
The Collective infects you constantly. The Molding Bar artifact, sold by the Park's vendor for 1,000 Source (the game's money), makes you immune to infection but caps your health at half.
The trophy unlocks once you leave the Gap after the fight.
Watch out
If the Pizzeria's mold shows no prompt, hit the Pizzeria's windows from outside until the yellow fog inside clears.
