Zodiac Village, a hidden hub, opens at the end of Chen Loong's quest in Chapter 3:

From the Bitter Lake > North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine, turn around and follow the coastline to its end. Beat Chen Loong, the dragon standing in the water, and talk to him until he repeats himself.
Travel to the Crouching Tiger Temple > Cellar shrine in Chapter 2. Choose Talk with Xu Dog, the wolf merchant beside it, for the Special-made Bone Strengthening Pellet.
Bring it to Chen Loong, now on the shore by a hut next to where you fought him. He takes you to Zodiac Village.

In Zodiac Village, give Chen Loong seeds to plant. Seeds come at random when you pick plants in the world. Come back after two boss fights and use the glowing basket in front of him. If it is not glowing yet, play on and check again after the next boss.
