Fill every page of the Journal, in the menu: 90 lesser yaoguai (ordinary enemies), 55 chiefs, 26 kings (the bosses) and 32 characters. Walking past an enemy adds its page, but it only counts for the trophy once you have killed one. Four pages are missable:

  • Wandering Wight (Chapter 1): the stone-headed monk on the path ahead of the Forest of Wolves > Outside the Forest shrine. Beat him before you ring the third bell for Elder Jinchi.
  • Apramana Bat (Chapter 3): at the end of the shoreline to the right of the Bitter Lake > North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine. Beat it on your first visit there.
  • Crane Immortal (Chapter 4): appears once you have taken the letters from the four purple altars (below), before the Hundred-Eyed Daoist Master ends the chapter.
  • Daoist Mi (Chapter 4, Purple Cloud Mountain): beat him before Duskveil (Bronze TrophyThe Cockerel Crowed).

The Old Man's page (Yuan Shoucheng) fills in only when you beat the final boss a second time and start New Game+, so the trophy unlocks at the start of New Game+.

The purple altars

  1. Webbed Hollow > The Verdure Bridge: at the top of the village past the green bridge.
  2. Webbed Hollow > Cliff of Oblivion: in front of the shrine.
  3. Webbed Hollow > Relief of the Fallen Loong: in the cave left of the shrine. Reach it from the Cliff of Oblivion over the broken hand, down to the hanging bridge and across the beam between the cocoons with Cloud Step.
  4. Temple of the Yellow Flower > Court of Illumination: in front of the shrine, open once the other three are done.

The Supreme Inspector then attacks. You do not need to beat him: take about 15 % of his health and the Crane Immortal appears.
