Fuban, a giant golden beetle, is the hidden boss of Chapter 2, at the end of the drunken boar's quest:
- Fright Cliff > Rockrest Flat: talk to the drunken boar in the big meadow straight ahead of the shrine.
- Yellow Wind Formation > Windrest Bridge: cross the bridge, go left among the houses and right into a courtyard. Break the golden glowing jar in its corner for the Sobering Stone.
- Back at Rockrest Flat, give the boar the Sobering Stone and talk until he repeats himself.
- Crouching Tiger Temple > Temple Entrance: go up the stairs and into the second opening on the right. Give the boar there a Jade Lotus, sold at Keeper's Shrines, and talk until he repeats himself.
- Back at Rockrest Flat, beat his brother, the Yellow-Robed Squire. Then follow the boar to the big gate at the side of the meadow and open it into the Kingdom of Sahi.
- Beat the second, stronger Tiger Vanguard waiting there, cross into the desert and talk to the bull standing on the cliff. He summons Fuban.
Attack Fuban's feet. Halfway through the fight the Yellow Wind Sage joins in on your side.
