Marvel's Spider-Man 2

From the first of the 31 main quests to the credits. The story hands out abilities and activities as it goes, so most side content waits for Step 2.

• Pick any difficulty. No trophy asks for one, and you can change it in the settings at any time.
• Spend materials freely. The game has enough for every suit and upgrade.
• Activities appear on the map as the story unlocks them. Doing them now gives experience, but leaving them for Step 2 saves swinging back to each district several times.
• From main quest 3, Show Me New York, you can switch between Peter and Miles in free roam: swipe Touchpad left for the FNSM app on Spider-Man's phone and hold . Some story sections keep you to one of them.
• Main quest 8, Bad Guys on the Block, gives you the Web Line, a tightrope you string between walls. Make stealth takedowns from it in the story's stealth sections and in Hunter Bases, the big enemy camps a district's blinds lead to (Slack Line). It is the one combat trophy that is easier during the story.
• Hunter Blinds open from main quest 8 too. Before each one, save to a new manual slot (the game has 30).

After the credits, until every district reads 100%. Crimes, the street fights that pop up as you swing around, keep coming for as long as you play.

Take every district to 100% for Superior. Its guide lists the 13 kinds of activity that count, each with its own trophy and checklist. Crimes and the small supply chests do not count.

• The map shows each district's percentage and how many of each kind are left. A district's second completion level reveals the rest of its activities and opens fast travel to it.
• Everything is marked on the map except the 42 Spider-Bots, small robot spiders. Look for their pink pulse.
• Peter does the EMF Experiments, science tasks for Harry Osborn's foundation, and The Flame missions. Miles does the Prowler Stashes (his uncle's hideouts), the Brooklyn Visions missions at his school and the Cultural Museum missions.
• The last activity of most kinds appears once the others of its kind are done. The last EMF Experiment appears only after the story.
• Mysteriums are Mysterio's combat challenges behind green gates. A bronze medal is enough in each.
• A Hunter Blind is the activity most likely not to count, and then that district's Hunter Base never appears. Check the district's counter after every activity. If one did not count, load the save from before it and do it again.

Many activities are fights, so finish the combat totals there. The story's fights count too, and the PS5 trophy list shows each count:

• As Peter, finish 100 enemies with his Spider-Arm abilities, the mechanical arms of his suit (Armed and Dangerous).
• As Miles, finish 100 enemies with his blue Evolved Venom abilities (Evolved).
• As Peter, use 25 symbiote abilities during Symbiote Surges, his short power-up from main quest 15, Good Men (Hidden trophySurge).

The 100% also takes you to level 60, the top, and brings nearly every material you need. Then buy:

• every suit in the Suits menu (Kitted Out)
• every gadget upgrade in the Gadgets menu (To the Max)
• every upgrade in the Suit Tech menu (Fully Loaded)

Tech Parts are the main material, and the 100% usually leaves you 1,000–2,000 short. Stop Crimes until you have them.

A few trophies are left, at set places or for a stunt. They open after main quest 3 and stay open after the story. Any time: around the city ticks them off with the combat totals.

• Run the bases on foot at the Big Apple Ballers Stadium, the small baseball field by Coney Island in Downtown Brooklyn (Home Run!).
• As Miles, pick up the science trophy, a blue cube on the church tower in the south of Financial District (Just Let Go).
• As Peter, visit Aunt May's grave in the cemetery in north-west Harlem (You Know What to Do).
• Glide from Financial District to Astoria on the Web Wings, the suit's glider, and two wind tunnels, gusts that speed you up (Soar).
• Do 30 air tricks in one run without touching anything (Hang Ten).
• Crash into the ground in the middle of a trick (Splat).
